Did someone say major league soccer mom? Is that my hand raised?  Yes, yes it is!

We are officially a soccer family and I am definitely a soccer mom, and you can totally call me a major league soccer mom if you wish.  My mom-mobile will honk in approval.

Living in Southern California it’s virtually impossible to not be part of the soccer craze, or at least know about it.  My husband wakes up early almost every Saturday morning to watch all things soccer.  And we as a family get up early because – SOCCER GAMES.

I honestly love when the games are early because – SoCal heat – but it’s hard to get everyone fed that early, am I right?  Which is basically why I have a small love affair with cereal.  In fact, when I was pregnant with my second son, aptly named Beckham and yes it is after the one and only David Beckham, all I ate was cereal.  I’m guessing this is why both of my boys love cereal?  I can’t tell you how many times a week I get asked to pour a bowl of Fruity Pebbles® for my boys.  I’m more of a Honey Bunches of Oats® kind of girl, but every now and then I dabble with a bowl of Honeycomb®.

majorThe thing that I love about cereal is that you can take it in a snack bag which is perfect when we are on the soccer field.  Especially when my youngest, yes that’s Beckham, is able to eat as much as an adult male on any given day.  I need all the snacks! {Side note :: Need a quick snack idea for soccer treats? You’ll be amazed at the variety of recipes found here}.  I’m currently loving the Screaming S’mores Bars.

So when products that I already love and use and athletics that are so important to my family combine – I’m one happy mom!

{Calling all Soccer Moms!}
