Where Do You Go In An Emergency?

This post is brought to you by our Sponsors MedPost Urgent Care, but our opinions are always our own!

When you are raising littles, an emergency can arise at any given moment.  Whether it’s a sudden fever caused by an ear infection or an accident – we’ve all been there.

EmergencyWhich is why I have come to rely on MedPost Urgent Care.

As a mom with three kids and two of those children being little boys, I have already visited the emergency room more times in five years than my entire life.  So I feel like I am somewhat of an expert when it comes to emergency care.  While MedPost isn’t an emergency room, it is more convenient and affordable for many situations that I might otherwise have gone to the emergency room at a hospital.

One of my favorite things about MedPost Urgent Care is that you can make an appointment

Hallelujah!  Talk about a lifesaver.  Instead of waiting in the lobby where my sick child will not only lose his mind but potentially pick up more germs or spread his germs I can make an appointment online or by phone.

When your child is sick or needing immediate care going to a facility that actually CARES about you means the world.

My youngest son fell and hit his head, he was bleeding everywhere.  I went to MedPost Urgent care and was immediately greeted by the nicest warmest receptionist.  She could tell I was in panic mode and quickly got the Doctor to come out and see my son.  He checked his head and decided he would need a CT scan which was something MedPost didn’t have and he referred me to CHOC.

This is what I love about Medpost Urgent Care.

They don’t treat you like a number or a dollar sign.  Sure, they could have brought my son in and charged me only to then tell me that I needed to go to another place, but they didn’t.

MedPost Urgent Care does their BEST to take care of you as a patient.

I think we can all agree that this flu season has been a bit rough.  MedPost Urgent Care usually closes at 8pm.  However, one particularly busy evening during this past flu season they saw every single patient that walked through their doors, and that night they stayed well past 10pm. That deserves some recognition!

They treat children 6 months and older

I always thought urgent care was only for children 10 years and up – I had NO idea that MedPost saw babies six months and older.

Here are some other services you may not have been aware that MedPost Urgent Care offers

We often want to forget about our emergency that just happened, but MedPost doesn’t forget.  In fact, they follow up with their patients.  They want to make sure that their service was the best it could be.  They WANT your feedback and really appreciate it. I love that their main concern is me.  Isn’t that how medical care should be?

MedPost Urgent Care is where I’ll be going in an emergency.
