PJ Library is a program that has FREE Jewish-themed books and music sent to your house each month for kids ages 6 months through 11 years.
“PJ” stands for “pajamas” and evokes that time at the end of the day when parents and children cuddle up together with a book.
Thanks to the generosity of the Harold Grinspoon Foundation (HGF) and Jewish Federation and Family Services (JFFS), PJ Library provides these books free of cost to families raising Jewish children.

PJ Library also hosts events!
To give you a taste of one of our OC events, on April 15, we celebrated Earth Day at the Fullerton Arboretum! We had a mom and traveling naturalist from the Environmental Nature Center in Newport named Mindy Schwartz facilitate a “growing, growing, gone” program where kids learned about plant and animal life cycles. Families also got to meet a number of furry friends, go on a nature walk around the arboretum, make arts and crafts, hear a story, and enjoy snacks and drinks! As a take-home gift, families received PJ Library decorated blessing cards, sharing all of the blessings we say related to nature, creatures, and our world around us. PJ Library also hosts partnership programs with other community groups, Moms and Dads Night Out events, and Jewish holiday celebrations and activities!
Even more recently this year, PJ Library OC launched PJ in the Neighborhood: DIY Get-Togethers.
Are you a mom or dad looking to connect with other families who live nearby? Sign up today to become a host for a neighborhood get-together where YOU live, with the help of your OC program professional, Jillian! Gather moms, dads, parents, or families for an activity of your choice, whether it’s a Sunday morning park-play, a mom’s coffee kvetch ‘n’ kvell at coffee bean or a Shabbat dinner.
