Fun Family Dinner :: Costco Style

family-fun-dinner-costco-styleFamily dinner can be hard.  It can be repetitive.  It can be a task that no one wants to take on, especially when you’re busy and tired.  Thankfully, Costco has made it pretty easy to create a fun family meal everyone will enjoy.

And bonus – there’s wine.

I like to think of myself as a pretty good cook.  I enjoy cooking and presenting my food in an appealing way.  However, after having children the idea of even folding a napkin seems daunting.

The thing is, I MISS having fancy food.  I miss the dinner parties I used to have.  And I’m tired of using the excuse that I have kids and am no longer able to have what I want.

And just like that Costco saves the day!

The Kirkland brand at Costco makes it affordable to buy the fancy foods I miss, and also easy to incorporate the fun foods my kids love.  The best part is it all tastes great!

Last week I made a fancy dinner for my family that took a mere 15 minutes in prep.

I simply stopped at my local Costco in Fullerton and picked fun food that I know I love and I know my kids will eat.

Here was my spread.

My kids felt like they were eating their favorite snacks.  I felt like I was eating a special treat.  My husband got some wine. Everyone was happy.  And just in case Costco and the Kirkland Signature brand couldn’t get ANY better – here are some INSIDER TIPS
