2018 Everyday Heroes Among Us
We are thrilled to bring you our Everyday Heroes Among Us campaign which is brought to you by our wonderful sponsors! We know that Orange County is filled with men, women & children who are stand-out citizens in their community. From the most amazing teachers in the country to the hardest working kids, Orange County has everyday heroes all around!
What is the 2018 Everyday Heroes Among Us?
We are now accepting submissions for the “2018 Everyday Heroes Among Us” We are looking for local men, women & children that stand out among the crowd. Ask yourself this –
- Do they go above and beyond to help their community?
- Do they set an example and offer encouragement for future generations?
- Do they play a vital part in the Orange County community?
- Do they strive to make Orange County a better place?
It might be your own child who started a lemonade stand to raise money for cancer research, your neighbor who is a veteran and volunteers to help at-risk youth, your grandmother who takes care of foster children, your best friend who is a teacher and makes sure every student has lunch or your nephew who started a recycling business. We want to hear about the men, women, and children who inspire you!
The Details
We are going to select 2 adults (aged 18+ and out of High School) and 2 children (aged 17 and younger still in school) from our community to shower with gifts and showcase on the blog and our social media.
You can either apply yourself OR nominate a friend. The application form is at the bottom of this post!

- The Orange County Moms Blog team will determine the 4 winners
- The 2018 Everyday Heroes Among Us will be announced on September 4th, 2018.
